Brompton Regis village hall

The fourth Brendon Energy power station was a 10 kW solar pv array on the roof of the village hall in Brompton Regis. This scheme was developed in partnership with the village hall trustees. The installation will provide free electricity for the hall and the community shop which is in the same building.

The installation was undertaken by Eco Exmoor in January 2014 and the panels have begun to generate electricity already. A proportion of the Feed in Tariff generated by the array is reserved for local projects in a community fund administered by the village hall trustees.
