Wiveliscombe Community Centre

Community donations 2013

Members decided on four donations from our community fund in 2013. £200 each for Wivey Link and for goal posts on the recreation ground. £50 each towards kit for Wiveliscombe RFC junior section and Practical Action for solar pumps in

Churchinford solar station

Brendon Energy’s second solar power station was installed on Churchinford Village Hall. This is a 9.75 kW project with 39 solar panels, which went live on 22 August 2013.

Community donations 2012

We have donated to two worthy local community organisations. Brendon Energy members choose to give £250 to 10CY (10 Communities Youth) and £250 to Brendon Orchards Co-operative. Shareholders also received their first annual interest of 4%.
